There are plenty of new features planned for Catex 2011, including a dedicated “Design and Fitout” area which will showcase the very latest in design trends, products and systems.

One of the leading suppliers in design and fitout will be exhibiting at CATEX 2010. Claire Drummond, Director of Drummond Furniture Ltd explains why,“We first exhibited in CATEX in 2009.  The exhibition was so successful for my company that we have decided to invest even more in CATEX 2011, by showcasing a bigger stand and a larger range of products. ” Other companies committed to the design and fit out area are Derrys, John Drummond Designs and John O’Connell furniture. Catex will host a number of competitions representing all aspects of the food sector including the National Cocktail Competition Andrew O' Gorman, President Bartenders Association of Ireland comments: “The Bartenders Association of Ireland will be holding the 2011 National Cocktail Competition sponsored by Edward Dillon & Co. Ltd at CATEX’’. “Those attending CATEX will be able to watch  Ireland's leading bartenders blend, mix and shake their original recipes to create interesting cocktails, one of which will be entered for the world competitions’’.
