Who will be crowned the champion in the Catex coffee contest? The 2013 Avonmore Irish Barista Championships and Avonmore Latte Art Championships will take place at Catex in the RDS on 19th, 20th and 21st of February. Entry forms are available from our website www.scae.ie and must be returned with the correct fee NO LATER THAN 14TH DECEMBER. Payments can be processed on line through our website or cheques or postal orders can be sent with the application via post.
The finalists of this year’s Avonmore Irish Barista Championships and Latte Art Competitions finalists will battle it out to secure the top national titles at CATEX 2013. The winner of the Latte Art competition will then go on to compete for the title of World Latte Art Champion at SCAE World of Coffee, Nice 2013, while the National Barista Champion will compete for the title of World Barista Champion in Melbourne, Australia in 2013.
